The western coastline has stunning beaches, while the eastern side is a calm environment, where you can see the mangrove swamp or traditional fishing villages. Lanta Old Town is a must-visit destination with handicraft shops and cozy waterfront restaurants

The beaches along the west coast offers a wide variety of activities. Koh Lanta is a marine park and therefore you will not see any beaches packed with sunchairs. There are no watersports or salesmen walking around the beaches. You can find shade and sunchairs visiting local restaurants and bars.
